The pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round representing the everlasting hope of mankind and all the needles point to heavenward, making it a symbol of man’s thoughts turning towards Heaven.

The star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago that God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise.

The candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness.

The Wreath symbolizes the real nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love is one continuous round of affection.

Santa Claus, symbolize the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December.

The holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior.
The red holly berries represent the blood shed by Him.

God so loved the world that he gave his begotten son.” Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

The candy cane represents the shepherds’ crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The candy cane is the symbol that we are our brother’s keeper.

It was the angels that heralded in the glorious news of the Savior’s birth.
The angels sang Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace and good will toward men.

The lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold.
The bell symbolizes guidance and return.
HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS,EVERYONE.

December 14, 2008 at 5:40 pm | In Multifarious, Working | 2 Commentswhat a week i have been. as usual trying to get through all by myself. and yes! it was a horrible week. sigh!
work sucks as usual. guess things just got worst but i just do not care. missed church service on saturday night. cell members could not make it on Saturday, so is my cell leader and me! so we all decided to make it on Sunday morning. and then yes, i met an accident RIGHT in front of the church i am attending.
the next thing i heard was ka boom! old faithful car was banged by a van. at first i thought was the church shuttle van. but the next thing i knew they were just the food catering for my church. two of my cell members were so calm in the car. pity the cat! but it was a give and take situation, they are willing to pay for the damages.
well, i was thinking not to attend the service anymore actually. not in the right mood. but i just did. i am not sure what is the message God is trying to tell me. is He telling me that this is the time to tell my family that i am attending church? or is He trying to tell me to put down the battle at work? Guess God just left me guessing.
now, i have to start to worry how do i get to work! anyone willing to ferry the cat to work at the industrial area? you know the free trade zone?
anyway, i went to watch

my very first play at Penang Actor Studio. I just love it. Mind me, we do not usually have this type of play in Penang very often unlike in KL, you know. and hey you do not expect i always travel all the way down to KL for an hour play? anyway, i love the script. i love the story line and i do love the actor. LOL!
that’s my week. how about yours?
